Good Guys With a Gun? How can we Tell?

Okay, so it's been a while since I have posted, but current events have been so troubling to me, that I have to get this out of my system.  Ever since this crazy open carry law has gone into effect, every nut job lunatic in the country has been draping themselves in ammo and semi automatic weapons in preparation for a trip to their local department store, or a casual visit to their favorite coffee bar or burrito joint. I mean, of course you wouldn't dare venture into these dens of iniquity and havens of tree hugging coffee afficianatos and feel safe without having your AK47 or your bazooka close at hand.
Truly, as one of the tree huggers, I felt remarkably safer among my fellow coffee drinkers before the establishment was infiltrated by a group of "good guys" armed to the teeth, and I am really confused as to how to tell the difference between the good guys and the bad guys.  When a half a dozen gun toting civilians burst into a public business, my first response is to call the police because there are no distinguishing characteristics that identify them as "good guys".  Funny, how someone wrapped in ammo and carrying numerous weapons doesn't instantly give me the warm fuzzies.  I wonder how the "good guys" are able to identify each other. Is there some kind of hand signal? I haven't noticed a sign around their neck saying GOOD GUY, and where would they get these signs?  Iamagoodguy.com? What's to stop the "bad guys" from getting one of those signs?  I see serious flaws in this mentality!
A friend and coworker told me that an armed society is a polite society. I wonder if these armed members of society politely asked permission before they killed dozens of UNARMED members of society. I guess they were just very offended that these members of society were unarmed, since only armed society is polite! HOGWASH!!
